COME BE MY LIGHT

Come be My light
A beacon of hope still
To captives of fret and fright
Captives to the devil's will.

A city set on a hill

A shining light for all to see
This is My desire,My will
That you,My child,should be.

Come be My light

A beacon of love divine
Shining beautiful and bright
As you abide in the Vine.

A city set on a hill

That cannot be vanquished
A beacon of hope still
For those who would otherwise perish.

Come be My light

A worthy soldier of the cross
Standing strong in the fight
Telling sinners the gospel of Christ Jesus.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Matt. 5 vs 14(KJV)

Hi Benjamin, thanks for visiting Devotional Rhymes. I like your style, simple but powerful, and I've done a few poems to do with verses, but mainly to do with what I read, hear or experience. may God bless you and keep up the good work. God Bless, Mike.
